I'm Chris Riel, an actor, improvisor, comedian, emcee, and all-around entertainer--as well as an early childhood educator--originally from Waipahu.

​

I've started Play 4 Life so that I can share my love for play, my passion for improv, my dedication to artistic freedom--and my belief that there truly are no limits to what we can create when we give 100% every scene, every show, every day--with children, youth, and adults throughout Hawai'i.​

​

The classes we offer provide different levels of organized play-time. I teach acting and improv skills within the framework of games and imaginative activities.

Students in Play 4 Life classes will:

​

•     use imagination
•     enhance creative thinking and problem solving skills
•     practice teamwork​
•     gain confidence
•     explore alternative points of view
•     learn styles of communication
•     prepare for life's challenges
•     build cooperative relationships
•     channel creative energy
•     break out of shells
•     develop ​unique artistic styles
•     ​create ​​characters and scenes with no script​
•     have tons of fun​

We currently hold classes in Kahala, Chinatown, and Kapolei.

​

Kahala:

•     Monday 7-9pm: Adults (mature)
•     Saturday 2:30-4:30pm: Juniorz (ages 6-12)

​

Chinatown:

•     Monday 7-9pm: Adults--Easy as PAI
•     Wednesday 7-9pm: Adults--Get RIEL?

​

Kapolei:

•     Sunday 12-1:30pm: Kidz (ages 5+)
•     Sunday 1:30-3:30pm: Youth (ages 10+)
•     Sunday 4-6pm: Adults (mature)
